I have in mind a setup that would use ANX not XNA to carry much of the projects created with XNA forward with full XNA type source code as we are using ANX. My next step would be to look at how you did this get ANX to work with that setup. Then use monogame with an ANX backend to carry us into a truly full open source future from the ground up with no dependencies. That is my vision at any rate.
